EU-GES – Project PRODIGE- PROmote DIGitalisation for Education & training – 1st Day of Learning Teaching Training Activity – Project Result Internationalization @ home

The Department for EU Projects in Vocational Education (EU-GES) is cooperating in the ERASMUS+ project PROmote DIGitalisation for Education & training (PRODIGE).
On 25th Octber 2022 30 participants met in Bologna to test the project `s results.
Afterwards presenting and getting to know each other the project coordinators presented the content of the project to new participants.
By evaluating the provided instruments and tools in the field of Internationalization @ home the participants discussed the approach and gave advice for practical use for the chosen tools. The internationalization @ home is an additional approach for students being not able to travel but nevertheless being enabled to get in touch with European experience.
With regard to the excellent food culture Bologna provides, the participants enjoyed a very tasty social dinner.
The specific objectives of the project are:
1. To innovate the internationalisation of learning and to digitalize some of the activities concerning the physical mobilities of VET learners and its preparation, monitoring and follow up
2. To build a capacity to implement tailor made, safer and higher quality international learners’ mobility experiences enhancing cooperation between VET schools and families
3. To increase teachers’ competences to develop Internationalisation at Home (I@h) activities and to deal with virtual and blended mobility
PRODIGE will allow 6 partners from 5 different EU countries to work together for 2 years with the common goal of strengthening the European dimension of VET centres which are strongly affected by the circumstances created by the COVID 19 pandemic.
